David Angus trained at The Drama Studio London 1979/80. His many theatrical appearances include, Jim in Breathing Corpses for Plainclothes Theatre in Bristol, Bill in On Golden Pond, at the Gateway Theatre, Chester, Moriarty in The Mask of Moriarty at the Haymarket, Leicester, Orsino in Twelfth Night and Angelo in Measure for Measure for What You Will Touring Co, Allman in The Lonely Sea at the Young Vic, and on tour, Count Dracula in Dracula The Musical , and The Black Knight in Magical Merlin at The Alexandra Theatre, Bognor Regis, Lord Breakwind in Something In the Air for Carib Theatre Co, The Captain in Black Nightingale with Dual Control Touring Co, The Nun’s Priest in The Canterbury Tales for The New Vic Touring Co, The title role in Macbeth and The Knight in The Prologue and Tales for LTC, Theseus/Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Open Air Theatre, SS Officer in Bent at the Northcott Theatre, Exeter, Jean in Miss Julie for BOA Theatre Co, Herod in A Medieval Mystery at Theatre Space, Covent Garden, and Strephon in The Midsummer Marriage at the London Coliseum for English National Opera.

Television and radio performances include parts in the series Campion for BBC TV, Love Hurts on ITV, and the role of Douglas Bader in Of Human Conflict for the BBC. Film appearances include the leading role of Brian Epstein in the multi-award winning The Hours & Times for Channel 4.
