Emma trained at East 15 Acting School, and works as an actor and theatre practitioner specialising in physical and visual theatre, encompassing puppetry, acrobatics, live music, devising and improvisation.
Alongside freelance work for various other theatre companies, Emma is an associate artist with Motherlode Theatre in Cardiff, and an associate producer for Wassail Theatre in Somerset. She is also a regular performer for both The English National Opera in their collaborations with Fiona Shaw at The London Coliseum and The Young Vic, and Illyria Open Air Theatre with whom she has performed Shakespeare and children’s theatre throughout the UK and internationally.
Recent and current work includes: Brrr (Proteus Theatre, The Albany Theatre Deptford), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Illyria Open Air Theatre, UK and Netherlands Tour), Papillon (Sixth Sense Theatre and Light and Lark), The Marriage of Figaro (English National Opera and Fiona Shaw, the London Coliseum), Reclaimed (Wassail Theatre Somerset), Rhum (Motherlode Theatre, Chapter Arts Cardiff), The Good Earth ( Fragments International Ensemble and Motherlode Theatre, Wales Millennium Centre), Sofia and the Sleeping Prince (Red Dog Theatre, Stroud), and Elegy for Young Lovers (The Young Vic, ENO and Fiona Shaw). After the Summer Comedy Play Season at The Pomegranate Theatre, Emma will be working on ‘Exodus’ with Motherlode Theatre at Chapter Arts Cardiff and the Bristol Old Vic.
