Matthew is a versatile actor with a history of appearing in a range of performance contexts including television, theatre, music, video, performance art and storytelling.

He studied at Kingston University and University of Wales, Cardiff as a visual artist before training as an actor at Bristol Acting Academy, based at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Recent roles have included, DC Wilson in BBC TV Three Girls, Don Quixote in Tales form La Mancha, Benedict Slade in Philip Human as well as in short films, commercials, stage, corporate and voiceover.

Matthew is keen investigate interesting and difficult ideas and has carried out a number of personal film projects that have involved different quests to far off places including the search for the mid-point between right and wrong (Utah desert, USA), the inner psyche of a French composer (Rocamadour, France) as well as a specific tulip variety (North East Turkey).
